Key responsibilities
- Developed features for an enterprise RegTech and corporate services platform using React, Next.js, NestJS, and TypeScript within a microservice architecture.
- Integrated with Singapore ACRA BizFile to automate company verification and business profile synchronization, then leveraged OpenSanctions to perform sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening for companies and individuals as part of the KYC/KYB compliance workflow.
- Built and enhanced Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services to centralize authentication and simplify frontend integration.
- Built reusable shared TypeScript packages, Zod validation schemas, and API contracts to improve type safety and code reuse across frontend and backend services.
- Built event-driven workflows using Kafka and improved API performance with Redis caching.
